Can't be arsed with her to be honest. Used to enjoy her in Gimme Gimme, can't stand her now. Made her money taking the piss out of poor women. Now she won't stand up for working class women. And don't start me on her bitchy comments towards James Dreyfuss. Another bloody luvvie.

Agree with the last few comments. I mentioned her in the "who is your biggest disappointment" thread. She knows that James Dreyfus isn't a bigot but has never stood up for him.

Nope pretends not to know what a woman is & threw James Dreyfus under the bus without a second thought (he by contrast is only ever lovely about her)

Always a switch off for me tbh, except in Tinker Tailor, she was great in that. Can’t stand disloyalty and that’s what she’s displayed towards James Dreyfus.

I think Kathy Burke is inspirational down to earth, strong personality she's a survivor too.

Brilliant comedian and my favourite female comedian (comedienne). She brightens up every screen she is on with her humour.

She is a massive disappointment. Apart from which, is there anything admirable about the quote posted? It seems to me that it only has an impact because of the oh-so-naughty "Try not to be a cunt" at the end. If she'd said "Try to be a nice person" it would have illustrated the banality of what she was saying in the rest of the quote.

I think that quote is ironic considering she acts like a cunt towards anyone who doesn't fit her world view 😂

I always thought Kathy was wonderful - but she is disappointing on this issue. I think it’s because she’s proudly, fully signed up to wokeism and there are no ifs, no buts, you follow the script.

Her X profile declares “My woke take brings all the c-words to the yard”. She’s proudly woke because she thinks being woke makes you a nice person. To an extent, it does! Woke people aren’t racist, for example, and that’s great, right? I’d much rather be woke than racist. And Kathy herself says she’d rather be woke than be an ignorant c-word. Fair enough.

Sadly, woke people also believe it’s bigotry to say a grown-ass man can’t be a woman, even if he insists he is one. That makes no sense to me. But if you’re woke, you can’t deviate from the script. Kathy is in a trap of her own making. Having said that, if she genuinely believes TWAW, and sex work is work, then she’s unlikely to care that she’s boxed herself in. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sadly I've met a few people who would consider themselves woke and who are racist, against white people and Jews. I actually had one try and explain to me that it was only racism if it was directed at black/brown skinned people and that you can't be racist towards white people 🙄
