Morning all.
I saw this mentioned on another thread last night but thought it worthy of it's own thread as a standalone topic.
Scotgov have launched a consultation into the guidance of delivery of RSHP education in schools.
"....... The revised guidance also includes new sections on the five topics below as well as key learning points for these topics:
*consent and healthy relationships
*faith and belief
*gender inclusive education
*inclusion of understanding about differences of sex development (DSD) / variations in sex characteristics (VSC) / intersex people
*lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) inclusive education"
The consultation closes on 23Nov.
ScotGov consultation
I will be reviewing this and responding but I'm far from an expert and very busy and want to make sure that I am considering points which may not be obvious, particularly in terms of gender woo.
Can we perhaps use this thread to share any thoughts?
