Could sense be returning to the CPS

So if you ignore the click bate headline from the mail talking about the terrible guidance that came out early this year on domestic abuse, it would seem that the CPS are reviewing and hopefully replacing the stonewall bs in the guidance.
Parents could be charged with domestic abuse for using wrong pronouns https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12711259/Parents-charged-domestic-abuse-not-using-childs-preferred-pronoun-controversial-guidelines.html?ito=native_share_article-nativemenubutton

The CPS faced claims it was 'losing the plot' over guidance that could also mean someone who refuses to fund a partner's transitioning process could be committing a serious offence

About time !

The CPS have allowed some of their employees to use the CPS as a political tool to undermine the rights of women and girls for their own dubious reasons. A quick look at the dismal data on rape prosecutions raises massive questions about their commitment to women's safety.
They were Stonewall Champions until 2021 when presumably the towering intellects working there realised that being signed up to a political lobby group might compromise their alleged political neutrality 🙄
Remember their appalling guidelines for schools that in the end, they withdrew rather than face a judicial review?

Thanks Hoardasurass. It is incredibly serious that the CPS is so politically biased and speaks to a lack of effective management and governance that nobody senior is able to insist on impartiality. Let alone our useless government who have presided over the capture of so many allegedly impartial institutions by trans extremism.
Very dangerous for women and children.

Boiledbeetle · 05/11/2023 10:20

Even after all this time I still find it shocking that so many institutions and government departments etc fell for all this. This is what happens when you outsource all your critical thinking to organisations like Stonewall.

It seems to me that the proliferation of staff networks has been a huge problem in this.

I imagine they started out as groups of people with something in common fighting for their interests. Fair enough, we can think of trade unions (in their early days at least) and many of us here in our own groups like WRN, Resisters, LWS etc. as being very similar.

But somehow they gained power out of all proportion, becoming the apparent 'go to' experts in their area. And they are expert in totally ignoring, dismissing and misrepresenting any other views.

Thank you. That's a detailed and shocking expose of institutional capture.

The Children of Transitioners group, whose articles are quoted in the report with links, have tried hard to raise awareness that courts, CPS and police are enforcing the gaslighting and abuse of families by abusive dads. There is a long way to go before women and children can regain confidence in any of them.

Here are a couple of additional links fyi:

The Police Have Been Captured

Note from Emma: it hasn’t escaped our notice that the UK police seem to have become very invested in their own brand of trans rights advocacy. Recent events, such as police taking two men into cust…

I'm really pleased that the Trans Widows Voices website is extensively quoted in the report, particularly given I was too upset by all this to be able to do any work on it.
