Finally the dangers of the trans (insert baned word) are being spelled out to the uninformed. He even talks about the large number of fetishistic males.

We risk raising nation of chemically castrated kids, says Tavistock Dr https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12623643/Being-trans-non-binary-new-sub-culture-risk-raising-nation-chemically-castrated-children-Doctor-spent-12-years-working-vulnerable-teens-Tavistock-warns-gender-ideology.html?ito=native_share_article-nativemenubutton

We risk raising nation of chemically castrated kids, says Tavistock Dr

EXCLUSIVE: Dr Az Hakeem (pictured) worked at the Tavistock and Portman Foundation Trust for 12 years and is the author of Detrans: When Transition Is Not The Solution.

Thanks hoardasaurus. I think this would be a great book to read. Dr Az has been consistent with his message. I would love to see the supposed follow up that Dr Cass is doing, but am not surprised that Dr Az has said 26% of his patients regretted transition.

He said 26 per cent of his patients at the Tavistock and Portman regretted transitioning.
Dr Hakeem said: 'They are left in this situation of being adults with no genitals who the services don't want to see and the trans community disowns.

Obviously, he is talking about patients who include those who regret transition but don’t detrans because of numerous reasons amongst those who will detransition. I think that once we have a better idea on numbers the discussion around ‘regret’ will become more diverse.

What is always ridiculous is the number of people who dismiss ‘regret‘ about these treatments as normal because ‘look at the regret rates for x’. The point they always miss is that this is a treatment on otherwise healthy bodied individual making them life long medical patients. Often their situations are in no way comparable to the treatments they wish to use as equivalents.

And I also await the cries of ‘I am not reading that because it is in the daily mail’. That have followed any article posted from the DM in recent weeks, while never actually addressing the flaws of the article itself. Never a sign of a curious person.

@Helleofabore I'm really glad that he is speaking out publicly even after the tras tried to get him struck off, with false claims of conversion therapy.
I think the thing that makes me sit up and listen to him is how much he reminds me of the lovely caring therapist that I had as an autistic teenager who hated being a girl and desperately wanted to be a boy. I lucked in because at the time watchful waiting was the only treatment.
The fact is he is speaking the truth about gender and saying the things that tras say must not be spoken of and doing it in a way that leaves people asking the important questions like who benefits from having adults who appear as children and why are we castrating children and why are no records of outcomes being kept. The best psychiatrists are the ones who give you the information in a way that makes you think and dr hakeem seems to be very good at it, I think that he would be the best person to run all gender services in the UK but I doubt that will happen unfortunately

I'm about halfway through his latest book, 'Detrans'. It's aimed at the lay person and is very readable.

He shares his personal and extensive experience and knowledge and his concerns about young people. He is far more overt in his criticisms in this books and 'trans terrorists' get a mention in the preface. He has been deplatformed and libelled by some horrible TRA's for years and years.

The later part of the book is I think stories from detransitioners and their families.

What a sensible man.

'The majority of trans are transvestites - that's more a fetish thing.'

He added: 'Kids are all identifying as trans or non-binary. ... 'They are not really trans, it's just the cool thing to do. When I was a teenage goth there was no goth identity clinic, luckily.

He said: 'Another [is] if you don't affirm your child's gender they will kill themselves - that's not true.

The danger is that we are having a nation full of castrated children.'

There's a big push for affirmation only. Affirmation is not therapy, it's a form of grooming.

'It's a bit like people in a cult. They believe it. They are not psychopathic, malicious people.

'Fetish, castration, grooming, cult.'

Descriptions that will get you deleted and banned from the foremost parenting website in the bloody world.

Come ON MNHQ. This is a doctor with over a decade of experience working at a gender identity clinic, with children, for fuck's sake. He is the sort of person who should be informing your policy, not TRAs. Now is the time.

Wake up and lift the censorship.

As he's says:

'They have been scared into believing his.
He urged people to 'go back to believing in reality and common sense and science'.

He's great. What I love about him is that he doesn't try and sugar coat the truth like so many do on the gender-critical side of the debate - he simply says, clearly and plainly, what we all know.

All of this needs to be discussed. Mothers and women need to discuss this stuff.

I cannot believe we've spent the past few years being censored for calling a male a man, or for raising concerns about cult like patterns of behaviour affecting young people, or for explaining that it's homophobic to suggest that lesbians should be taught to accept males as sexual partners, or for talking about certain male fetishes and paraphilias that are predicated on non-consensual participation. Or for safeguarding, ffs!

Long past time we ought to all be talking about this, and not in bloody code words, either.
