Potential Woman’s Hour replacements include Anita Rani, who already presents the Friday and Saturday editions, and Nuala McGovern, who appeared during Barnett’s maternity leave. The Radio 2 newsreader Tina Daheley has also been mentioned.

Not a fan of Rani’s tbh. Woman’s Hour deserves more ‘bite’ than she (on recent form) is prepared to offer.

But if she's made permanent you can have Anita Rani's Fluffy Friday every day of the week!

Woman’s hour is only worth listening to because Emma is back! Today already has excellent presenters (although she would fit right in to be fair).

I didn't mind Anita Rani on the TV in as much as I hadn't formed any particular opinion but find I can't listen to her on the radio. It's not her voice, that I don't have an issue with, it must be what she does with it. Same with .... em ....er ...... Nuala McGovern.

Anita is awful. Isn’t she the one who had a real go at women rightly objecting to Graceless Lavatory being interviewed?
