Tonight’s programme in Toronto. In a queer / trans book shop with young woman (probably identifying as t or nb) who kept going on about trans and queer community and how long the bookshop had been for queer and trans people. When in the old days it certainly was for lesbians and gay men. Gruff continued to speak about gay people despite the young woman’s complete denial of the term. I did not see the beginning to be fair, but it was good to see him standing up to the revisionism .
