Art world still taking the piss?

It seems Marchel Duchamps famous work 'fountain', a urinal which is a work of art because he says it is (what does that remind me of?). May be a case of stolen valour.

The bit at the end when, paraphrasing, had it been correctly attributed to a woman, no one would have given a toss about it, seems legit.

In a way it doesn't matter who made this piece, it was a seminal point in art history.

In another way, it's yet another fucking annoyance that a woman's work was passed off as a man's.

Well perhaps it will get amended to say "Ms Mutt" as retrospective justice.

This is pretty well known already isn't it? I'm sure I read about it a few years ago.
