As a student nurse, in Lesson 1 on Day 1 of our mental health module we were told we should never affirm people’s delusions. cazzovuoi is correct. Any sub group or individual person joining a group they don’t, in reality, belong in and then forcing through integral changes to that group is an act of abuse.
