Okay, I'll try again without being snippy...
Every single staff member suddenly 'falling ill' at the same time, on the day an event their venue had already attempted to unlawfully cancel is due to take place, is not a clever way to get around not being allowed to unlawfully discriminate against people.
IIRC, when it was suggested that the staff at The Stand should try this as a way to de-platform Joanna Cherry (after The Stand had accepted they were discriminating and reversed the cancellation), some lawyers said that this would then allow the person discriminated against to sue the staff members individually, along with the venue for allowing their staff to discriminate.
And it's not just gender critical women that speak at FiLiA events. The most amazing women come from all over the world to speak about femicide, FGM, forced abortion, rape, sex trafficking, torture, oppression, and many other problems affecting women and girls worldwide, right now.
But instead of actually listening to what these speakers have to say, some TRAs are just so desperate to stop their voices being heard. They've previously protested by holding signs that demand ''suck my cock you transphobic cunt'' as these women talk of rape, as they talk of how when they were just little girls they were taken to have their genitals mutilated with rusty tools and no pain relief. They attempt to deny these women a supportive place to speak about these issues. Why? How does muzzling oppressed women help trans rights?
