The subject heading is a quote from Dr Az Hakeem. The statements from Gendered Intelligence and the NHS at the end have a strong whiff of plausible deniability.

NHS is directing vulnerable teens to 'transing factories'

EXCLUSIVE: NHS is directing vulnerable teenagers confused about their gender to 'transing factories' that believe in controversial 'affirmation' techniques, according to ex-Tavistock Trust doctor.

FWR Posters anticipated this would happen just after the original news about Tavistock GIDS.

There's little obvious intention to change. GI supporters are in place to carry on as before but in a more distributed and plausibly clandestine manner.

Very interesting article. Dr Hakeem pulls no punches, his message is clear and stark.

There is a very interesting interview with Dr Hakeem here:
An interview with Dr Az Hakeem - Transgender Trend

Interesting that he found that many of his patients found their dysphoria resolved after psychotherapy.

I have had some professional contact with the Nottingham Gender Clinic recently.

They work entirely on 'affirmation only', so no attempt is made to explore the REASONS for patients' dysphoria. Patients are generally seen twice, by two different clinicians. The second appointment appears to be mostly taken up with discussing the potential harms of hormone treatment (including infertility), so the patient can give 'informed consent'.

They are now commissioned as a 'diagnostic' service only (though the diagnosis appears to be on the basis of the patient's self diagnosis). They expect the patient's GP to take on all the legal and clinical responsibility of prescribing unlicensed cross sex hormones which will definitely sterilize and probably reduce the life expectancy of young people (many still in their teens). There is no evidence that these medications will improve mental health.

It is appalling that the NHS is providing this as 'healthcare'.

Dr Az Hakeem writes about his motivation and experience in working with gender dysphoric people, both pre- and post-transition.

I'm becoming increasingly grateful for people who speak clearly about this subject.

And interesting but not at all surprising that the founder of Gendered Intelligence is a transman.

Self interest features significantly in these groups. Fine if you're lobbying for whatever rights you think trans people don't have. Completely unacceptable when groups like this, global butterflies, mermaids etc make a beeline for child healthcare & education and are able to gaslight children with their luxury beliefs about changing sex and the wonders of a life of drugs, surgery, infertility & lifelong ill health.

Dr Hakeen says '[Staff at Gendered Intelligence] are not clinicians. They are people who are very politically active.'

It is very much worth looking with your own eyes at the Gendered Intelligence staff :

i'[Gender dysphoria is] a symptom, not a diagnosis. You need to work out how they came to that conclusion but with affirmation you don't do that.'

^^ this is really important.

Many of the transwomen who come on here are asked these questions.

What do you think has caused your gender dysphoria?

And.

If there was a cure, would you take it?

Given it's meant to be the cornerstone of being transgender, and it's a crippling illness that blights their lives, it's quite revealing exactly how many don't understand the first question and don't want the cure mentioned in the second.

It's high bloody time that 'being transgender' was nailed down with exact definitions.
