Well that's the right platform for spouting a lot of unsubstantiated and unmonitored content to kids.

Surprised they didn't do this years ago.

A children's sex change charity with as many safeguarding scandals as this one (paedophile, staff porn, data breaches etc) shouldn't be on any social media platforms that children can access.

I mean, nobody stopped them when they took sweets and puppies to attract kids at, if I remember correctly, PRIDE events.

I predict 'lessons will be learnt' at some point.

Wondered why I was suddenly seeing more tra stuff on my fyp. There's plenty of GC people on tiktok though who are quite happy to pile on any nonsense like Jeffery Marsh trying to groom kids.

Awful video. The government is releasing statutory guidance. While that's not primary legislation it's not accurate to say schools can just ignore it.

It's also plain wrong to say there is no law saying schools must inform parents when they change a child's pronons/name. There is data protection and other legislation which makes clear that parents are the owners of info given to schools. You can't legally change a child's name (even nickname) on school systems without parental consent until they are almost 16. Nor can you withold information without a very strong safeguarding rationale.
