I found this very moving. He must be so tired. I really hope he gets back to writing comedy again as his shows are some of my favourites. He needs to look after himself now.

He’s a really good man. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting him and emailed one of our group’s campaigns to him in the hope of him promoting it - and he did. It was just like communicating with an old friend.

When I think about who he is and what comedy writing he has done, it blows me away that he took time out to help me and my group get publicity, despite everything else that is going on for him. I doff my cap to him, he’s a good bloke.

Honestly I panic when I see his name like that! I worry something has happened!

This is interesting, there’s three parts. It’s a critic from the fringe asking questions about how he got where he is, in every sense

He’s brilliant, I really really admire him. He’s done what many men can’t be arsed to do. And that is defend the rights of his fellow adult human females.

I always order the books written by all of those brave women and men standing in the firing line of this insanity.

He’s a hugely talented man who’s easy to admire. I highly recommend looking up his substack subscription, excellent value.

Glinner really is a true hero, I hope his book is a great success, and his Father Ted show be released. He deserves much better treatment and some apologies.

Whenever I see Glinner's name I am reminded to buy a lottery ticket in order to (a) hopefully win, and consequently (b) release Father Ted the Musical back into the wild.

I decline to believe that Hat Trick productions cannot be bought.

I can also confirm Graham Linehan is a lovely man and excellent to work with. Unlike some others on the 'comedy circuit' and in TV/theatre land. Glinner is very different, in a good way.

Yes, thanks for the links, now I’m on episode 3! The explanation of testosterone’s effects on young women was so clear and shocking. How can a teenager - who probably thinks 30 is old! - possibly consent to treatment that will affect them at an age they can’t envisage ever being?
