The podcast from Sasha Ayad and Stella O'Malley is excellent too.

That is an excellent and balanced book review and the contrast shows the politicised, dangerous and lying magical thinking crap that kids and then their parents can be uncritically fed where there is no gender critical thinking allowed.

Anyone who wants to listen to a podcast series by the authors of the more critical adult-orientated book written by Ayad, Marciano and O’Malley should look up the ‘Gender Through a Wider lens’ which is insightful and challenging and balanced and based on their long experience as psychotherapists supporting kids (and families with kids) who are exploring gender identity issues.

Ditum has clearly read both books carefully but it’s also clear which she considers the better book.

It does highlight the downside of relying on reviews to make a purchasing choice. The lifetime consequences could be very sliding-doors as to which book a parent bought and read.
