As an aside, where I live, all dogs must be registered, can only be off-leash in designated areas, and certain breeds are unable to be in public without muzzle/harness/etc. Also, all breeders must be registered (or the fines are huge), so backyard puppy selling as a side hustle is being stamped out.

That said, the comparison couldn’t be clearer if it were lit up in neon.
