I thought some of the topics covered in this debate may be of interest to some of the posters on this board:

It's a debate between Conservative and Liberal American gay men. They cover over-sexualisation of pride, taking kids to drag shows, dating trans men, and puberty blockers amongst other things.

It would be interesting to see a similar debate among lesbians.

34 minutes in, the debate topic I was most intrigued by: “I would date a trans man.” Some of these gay men stepped forward to say they would. Note that one of them then had to reverse ferret because he’d misunderstood the definition of trans man! He thought a trans man was a male identifying as female.

I think clearer language is needed in this whole debate. If a member of the LGBT community doesn’t know what a trans man is, then how many straight people don’t know? How can anyone answer questions about trans men and trans women if they don’t know what the terminology means?!
