A wig doesn’t make you a woman

This has really riled me up this morning.

This man looks like he’s literally thrown a wig on and now demands everyone calls him a women.

I am all for respecting peoples choices but surely you lose some of that right when you become a dangerous sexual predator.

This is purely a power play by him.
He can do whatever he likes but you still have to show him respect by using his preferred pronouns and name.

Thankfully he’s in a male prison.

This one isn’t a woman and should not be referred to as she. It’s a game with this type. Commit sexual assaults, slap on a wig and a cheap pink outfit, call yourself the girliest name you can and voila you are magically female and can demand to be treated as such.

Honestly I’ve always been a bit of a feminist on the quiet but never got too involved but the last few years with this BS, I’ve raised my head up and speaking out.

I think they should have shaved.

Honestly he looks like he’s gone to a fancy dress party as Baby Spice, got absolutely hammered, had a fight in a kebab shop, done a runner from the cab, hidden in the bushes then ended up in a cell for the night and that’s his morning after mugshot.

The Press must take care not to publish inaccurate, misleading or distorted information or images, including headlines not supported by the text.

This ought to be a sound principle, but so often in these stories the text is what is wrong. Images and headlines should reflect the facts (as should the text of the article).

The idea that any bloke who wants the courts / prison officers / press / everyone else to use wrong sex pronouns can compel that usage is an abusers wet dream. What a fantastic way to continue the abuse - to be aided and abetted in the ongoing gaslighting of your victims.

It must be hugely offputting if you're a victim, if you know that you'll be gaslighted and coerced by the press, judiciary, police etc if you prosecute.
