I was genuinely shocked they'd printed that (there will be rebuttals tomorrow explaining that of course women's rights aren't impacted and it's all a silly fuss/culture war).

On Friday there was a full page guff-fest about why "cisgender" isn't an insult, with the final two paragraphs being particularly enraging. I assumed it wasn't worth writing a response as the paper is so anti-women.

Yea will be interested to follow what happens tomorrow.
I saw that piece on Friday (I’ll see if I can find a pic) I didn’t recognise the author and there was no bio line to set the scene as to who they were. I googled and it was Owl.

I have several owls who are calling (screeching) to each other when I am in bed. The bedroom chimney that they perch on acts like a megaphone at 2am. Seems apt in this context.

You can probably tell my love for all things owl is at an all time low.

I do wish people wouldn't couple LGBT+ in that way though. I know it's been forced by the T. The rights of women are not being eroded by LGB people.

Owls have this completely undeserved reputation for being wise. Most of their head space is taken up by their eyes, leaving very little room for brains. What they are is very, very good at being owls.

They've got a reputation for wisdom because, for some reason unknown to me, Athens had a soft spot for them.

The gender war against women has found cover in LGBTQ+ and too many gay men go along with the forced teaming. Part tribal, part old fashioned misogyny.
