What is womanhood.
So many brilliant women out there speaking out. Makes me feel hopeful.

Thank you OP, she's very articulate. And so right.

I started my periods relatively late it's one of my clearest memories. Parent's bathroom, sky blue nylon knickers with a picture of Orinoco womble....ruined.

with a picture of Orinoco womble....ruined.

I don't think I'm alone in asking - WHAT?

Anyway, excellent link. She's great, she really expressed a lot there, especially at the end, which was hovering around my field of consciousness but I couldn't pin down.

Very clear and articulate woman, thanks for posting OP!

I can relate to planning my holidays ("vacations") around my due dates, and the uncertainty of planning anything more than a few months in advance. (Fibroids in my 40s made this a nightmare). No man would have to think about this, ever.

What a lovely voice she has too.

Gagagardener · 04/08/2023 22:09

Bump. She was good..We work/ed hard to disguise discomfort of menstruation, to be discreet, to crack on regardless. Talking about was embarrassing in my reproductive years. Glad to hear a young woman being so articulate.

Love her clarity.
