Sinead is very vocal and very brave. Great voice and perspective. Didn’t know she was 31, she looks so young!

The Costa drawing is minging, all this corporate DEI art is soo hideous to look at.

Sinead has been amazing and so brave despite dealing with so much still.

I have learned a great deal from Keira and Sinead. But most of what I have learned from these two has been the impact of being in the spotlight as destransitioners. The abuse that Sinead still puts up with on Twitter is vile.

Here is her youtube

Sinead also works with Genspect.

I hope you don’t mind me adding this here too OP.

This is CAMILLE KIEFEL. She writes:

Nobody showed me any research on the implications of doing the surgery. And the weird thing, too, about being nonbinary is what do you even transition to? There's no nonbinary sex to transition to.

Camille Kiefel is a detransitioner

I thought I was nonbinary. Now I help detransitioners

I'll have to live with my body being mutilated for the rest of my life and I don't want this to happen to others.

Is it time to add 'D' to LGBT+ ?

Is it time to add 'D' to LGBT+ ?

I’d be happier to dump the TQ+ altogether, as none of it is about sexuality, and all of it is a toxic mess in the current political environment.

I read this yesterday. She is so beautiful and articulate.

What she has been through is horrific.

She struggled with having large breasts and could have been offered a breast reduction. The irony is, the NHS offers them very reluctantly. However, a double mastectomy because she is trans? No problem.

I just wonder what kind of surgeon would do this? Surely the GMC should investigate. The facts present as: woman with healthy body part has said body part removed leaving numbness and scaring.

Same goes for male to female op. Healthy, functioning organ mutilated so it doesn't function as well.

How is this allowed to happen? Why are these surgeons doing irreversible operations without any of the usual medical regulations?

How is this allowed to happen? Why are these surgeons doing irreversible operations without any of the usual medical regulations?

Because they’ve created this arse covering 2/3 specialists system.

A psychiatrist or specialist psychologist makes the diagnosis and refers for hormones and surgeries.

An Endocrinologist prescribed hormones

A Surgeon carries out the amputations/inversions

no one takes full responsibility for any of it.

Backstreets · 03/08/2023 10:04

I genuinely wonder if doctors hesitate to recommend breast reductions because a lot of them are men and they think big breasts are neat - especially on young, slim women like sinead. I had mine in my early 20s and haven’t regretted it a day. It’s really only getting interested in this stuff made me realize a lot of the motivation for the reduction was I hated men staring at them, as well as the also valid discomfort and neck pain reasons I gave at the time.

That's depressing isn't it? They fail collectively so no one is held to account.

I think you are right - when I went on the pill in my early 20s, I went to the GP because I lost weight with nausea and my breast got bigger.

He prescribed a different pill and as I was leaving the room he called after me:

"Most women would be grateful to be slimmer with bigger breasts".

turbonerd · 03/08/2023 12:50

The admiration I have for these de-transitioners!
Mixed with feeling sad for them having gone through such awful treatments.

It is very brave what they are doing, I do hope people notice both what they are saying and the horrible treatment they get from the Rainbow Army - just for telling «their truth».

Or the truth, as it is.

James Esses has done a write up on the infamous 'yeet the teets' surgeon.

I am cognisant of those who have suffered with seeing depictions of these images so I am putting a warning here. I hope that I have removed the preview picture.
