Where the hell is the safeguarding team and LADO on this. Totally inappropriate. What next, pole dancing supported by the council?

SirSamVimesCityWatch · 01/08/2023 21:27

What the actual fuck?

Circus

Keep going MNHQ you are not going to silence us on this!

theDudesmummy · 01/08/2023 23:59

FFS just when you think we must be reaching the peak, this further shit shows up. No-one is trying to silence adult entertainment, @Wiccan we just don't want it grooming our children.

Nope you have got it wrong ! I had my message deleted by MNHQ because I am GC . I told MN they will not silence me . I'll wait for your apology!

It's amazing if you go to local councils for funding for kids swimming , cycle paths in local parks , new playground. We are told no there is no money available. But involving our kids in adult drag shows and they are throwing money at it . Fucking ridiculous !

Having read the article again (red mist having cleared) it says this:

The city council is sponsoring a five day drag camp which offers 14-year-olds the opportunity to become “divas”.

Oxford City Council is supporting a week long “Drag Camp” which offers 14 to 18 year olds the chance to “create their own daring stage persona”.

The camp, which starts on Monday on Magdalen Road, will be run by T(ART) Productions, which is a queer not for profit community events company, alongside Pegasus theatre group and Doris Field Charitable Trust.

The company promises to help children find their “drag voice” and to introduce them to the “world of drag as a performance art”.

And somehow this seems even worse. Are there really no local performing arts groups, or is just that the queer trans agenda has captured this as well.

Do local councillors know what queer means? It isn't just some alternative word for being same sex attracted - will be run by T(ART) Productions, which is a queer not for profit community events company.

Did they do any background checks into suitability for undeer age children?

I just dont understand.

I know a lot of people are going to find it hard to admit they may have been misled by TRA propoganda, but on the other hand as child safety school children have been in the headlines, didn't they stop and think is this the best or most appropriate to offer local children.

Or does it mean in the future there will be no Happy Valley, but instead Trans Canyon, the every day story of stunningly brave drag queens tackling law and order in a world threatened by terfs?

Each day you think we must have peaked and then it becomes clear we are still in the foothills of this constantly growing political parasite.

I know , at times you'll see an article where it looks like people are waking up to it then bang something that's even worse comes along . Why are local councils even considering it let alone okaying it. What exactly would a local council consider inappropriate for children now ? . Jesus where is the safe guarding ? .

If it's a drama camp in Oxford you're looking for, here's a much better alternative.

Omg, wtf, seriously what the actual fuck! I'm Drama graduate- there are a million things kids could do - zero need, I literally do not understand what positive things children will get from this - some of the names have explicit meanings found in adult pantomimes - NOT for children

mrshoho · 02/08/2023 18:48

Why the hell are certain groups doing their best to push drag performance onto kids? From babies and toddlers and now teenagers. For a local authority to be sponsoring it as well is just wrong.

There is only one answer to that ( if I post it my post will be deleted )
No person in their right mind would believe any of this is acceptable and these people are definatly not in their right mind !!!
