Labour split on self ID

They won't call it self-id but it will be self-id.

Scottish Labour just watched the SNP get roundly (and justly) criticised for effects of the GRA reform bill (not only because of the Bryson case) and yet they still want to commit to self-ID. What’s going on there??!!

I would have thought that Scottish Labour would be keen to differentiate themselves from the SNP on such an unpopular policy. Surely they are not all true believers in TWAW?

Does the Labour Party UK as based in London think that Scottish Labour is lost to them anyway? As in, Labour is casting Scottish Labour loose and concentrating on the critical mass of winnable seats in England, rather than wasting time and resources pissing about with extreme gender ideologues who cannot be swayed?

In order to pull the wool over our eyes, Labour is keeping the necessity for a doctor to sign someone off as 'genuinely trans', which in theory goes against the principles of Self ID; but there will be a whole new revenue stream for doctors ( Adrian Harrop, Gender GP and so on) who are willing to adopt and affirm trans ideology in return for a fee.

Self Id by proxy. And this is supposed to appease women's groups and the general public. Labour are still signed up to Stonewall and do their bidding. They haven't changed their fundamental stance at all. It is too late for that. It is well and truly embedded.

Exactly this. Bung Webberly a few quid and get a supporting letter for a GRC which costs a fiver. Good luck undoing the mess already created where organisations and companies won't protect single sex spaces for fear of the wrath of TRA.

I don't need "safe spaces ", I need single sex spaces. Public loos, changing rooms, hospital wards etc etc. No bullshit which says legal sex = biological sex.
