What an awful story.

I remember Lucy from the X Factor and was gutted when she left. It's horrible to now hear that it was for such a tragic reason.

It's great to see her doing so well now though.

I remember Lucy from the X Factor and was gutted when she left. It's horrible to now hear that it was for such a tragic reason.

It's great to see her doing so well now though.

I'm appalled that it was allowed to happen at the time under the grounds that Lucy wanted to write her own music.

She has documented battles with depression, sobriety and has turned into an incredible young woman.

I'm aware shes back working with Simon again and her music is as always fantastic but I just feel so, so sad for her that that was able to happen.

I remember the reason at the time being tonsillitis. She was allowed one "pass" into the new week but not two.

Horrifying to read the real reason because I really enjoyed her on that show.

Worse that the producers "encouraged" her and Rylan to go out partying to get "bad boy" tabloid headlines/ pap pics in the papers.

I really do wish her well.

I must have made up the music thing, I'm sure she talked about that st some point though.

I've looked at the articles and it cites being unwell, her grandmother dying and her refusing to accept the second pass and withdrawing, and exhaustion.

How awful that this happened to her, what a time she must have had. Such a strong lady.

I remember it being known at the time that there had been an assault on an X factor contestant and then she was no longer on the show - forums such as digispy mentioned it.

I know. I've followed her for years, and her battle with mental health and sobriety
I really, really feel for her and think shes incredible.

Interesting that it was a hotel at Edgware road. I wonder if it was the same Hilton hotel that was really horrible to that woman a few weeks ago?
Wouldn't surprise me.
