This is great stuff and great to hear a left leaning journalist agreeing with miriam grossman who is wonderful and so coherent.

Finally got round to watching this. Thank you for posting.

Aside from the (inevitable, I guess) plugging of Miriam's new book, this is a very well articulated and thoughtful interview. It covers some important topics very well, with some great questions coming from the interviewer.

To those in the US, how well respected is this journalist in left-leaning/Democratic circles? Until recently I've only ever watched interviews or journalism like this on typically right-/Republican-leaning platforms. (It took a long time for me to be open to right-/Republican leaning press and platforms as a valid source of information but that's another topic... and of course I always apply critical thinking no matter what the source).

Is it significant that she is platforming this kind of exploration?

I'm in the UK where the difference between right- and left-leaning is a very different landscape from the US. However, I'm very aware that lots of influence in the UK comes from what is discussed in the US on this topic.

At the moment, even though we have the Cass Review in the UK, we don't have the debate openly in society about the impact of gender identity belief on vulnerable children. Getting it out more in the left-leaning press (US and UK) would be a very positive step towards more open and balanced debate.
