Is there a sanpro product/ company that isn't forcing gender shit at girls?

Supermarket own brand? Who even buys the price gouged branded towels unless they're desperate on a motorway?? Total rip off.

Myalternate · 15/07/2023 16:10

Would a Tena Lady product attract transgender people?

WomenShouldStillWinWomensSports · 15/07/2023 16:25

I hope every last one of them goes out of business for profiteering off women's natural bodily functions and causing gynae issues like thrush, BV and irritation from all the layers of environment-trashing plastic and godawful flowery "scented" products we don't want. The gender woo they're all spouting right now is a symptom of how much they hold women in contempt, not the main issue.

As a sufferer of vaginismus I have no choice to use other products so I get the supermarket ones. I've never seen Aldi use a trans person to advertise their products and I don't see anyone on TikTok etc saying how they keep a Lidl Siempre in their bag in case a real woman asks them for one in the bogs (translation: To satisfy AGP men's own sick fetishes).

It's telling how they haven't launched a "manitary towel" in camo packaging for transmen to help them if they genuinely wanted to help transpeople. They're not pro-natal-woman at all in any way shape or form.

I thought Bodyform were still OK? Or have I missed a memo?

toastandmarmaladeandtea · 15/07/2023 19:52

Thanks everyone

I did too but I feel like recently there was a thing and I'm finding it all exhausting

Lots of mentions of women and womanhood all over their website so I think they're safe... for now.

timetorefresh · 15/07/2023 20:19

Another vote for honouryourflow. I only regret not switching to them sooner

AltitudeCheck · 15/07/2023 20:27

Mooncup!

toastandmarmaladeandtea · 15/07/2023 20:47

I like reusables and prefer a moon cup
Myself but for a girl at school I think it's harder to find the privacy needed for those

Would she feel more comfortable with period pants? Maybe just on lighter days, when a single pad is enough for the day.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 15/07/2023 21:07

Luxury Moon for reusable things...

Whatwouldscullydo · 15/07/2023 21:18

Sisters republic for non gender woo period pants.

Honor your flow or luxury moon for reusables.

Or supermarket own brand for disposables that aren't scented or captured.

N4ish · 15/07/2023 21:31

Oh no, really disappointed to see this from Bodyform!

LiesDoNotBecomeUs · 16/07/2023 01:34

Bodyform call us cis women 😕

QuickWash · 16/07/2023 01:44

I find it so hard to find non scented stuff these days. Infuriates me, who actually wants their nethers to smell of cheap air freshener?

I also hate not having a choice. Went to a fairly large Morrisons (not my local town) and couldn't buy a single tampon with applicator that wasn't Tampax. I didn't buy any may because the Dylan Mulvany thing was a line in the sand, but what other product would be offered with zero choice in a large supermarket these days. You get a massive choice of onions and potatoes FFS. A whole aisle of loo rolls. Multiple types of cat food. But women wanting some choice of stuff they insert into their bodies. No. Have what we chose for you.

bonfirebash · 16/07/2023 02:04

Don't know if it helps but I went to Asda the other day (I never go there usually) and their pads were 50p. Even the nighttime ones. And not scented!

I usually use honour your flow or rag hag from Etsy but they've both got poppers underneath so I use disposable ones when I'm doing a spin class for comfort

Thanks for the advice

It IS infuriating not to have a choice. Tbh, starting my periods was a pretty positive event (albeit low key) and part of that was chatting with my best friend and choosing liners. I realise that now sounds a bit 🙄 but how deranging must it be that all these brands designed to address a female issue are promoting this dangerous gender ideology! Maddening!

We know that not everyone who menstruates is a woman

Absolute fucking bullshit from Bodyform. It's just disinformation. Sounds like I need to buy some for my ds.

Many if these companies donate products to places where girls and woman cant afford them. To try and help keep girls in school. Places like Kenya where girls don't have the privilege of being worried about their identity. They know exactly what half of the population needs them and why. Its full on lying to their customers face. Can you imagine how stupid they'd look if their representative went all the way to Kenya looked at the long line if girls waiting to pick up their pads then started asking all the boys too " just in case "
