Transwomen are men as you well know Merlin.
No I am not happy with men in the women's toilets.
The only men I have seen in them are transwomen, so they should just fuck off and use the men's

Theeyeballsinthesky · 12/07/2023 15:07

Oh Merlin you are worth your weight in gold. Every time you post you do our job for us

Boiledbeetle · 12/07/2023 15:08

MerlinsLostMarbles · 12/07/2023 15:03

If I may ask, if you were using a woman's facility and a transwoman was there doing their own thing, would you be happy with a cis-man to then enter to cause a physical altercation with the transwoman?

(I know "cis" isn't a well-liked term here, but just to differentiate between trans and not-trans)

To put it another way, should there be designated "toilet police"?

.Oh love I'd be causing merry hell myself. I'm the toilet police for me

I'd be getting that man wrongly using the women's toilets out of there on my own without any assistance required. But if they still wouldn't go and i required help then I'm happy for another woman OR man (or a transwoman who has the decency to use the men's toilets but hears my calls for help) and comes to answer my calls for help.

MerlinsLostMarbles · 12/07/2023 15:14

ok, another question is how can you tell? Do you examine every other woman in the toilets to try to tell if they are trans or not?

now you're just having a laugh.

I've been on the planet for fifty years. Filters and makeup may hide the difference online but in the real world you can tell.

Sit in town one Saturday afternoon and watch the world go by. You can tell the men from the women from the other end of the high street before they even come into focus.

Boiledbeetle · 12/07/2023 15:20

And I'll add given the amount of men I've picked up over the years I've never found myself in bed with a woman because I couldn't tell the difference!

JanesLittleGirl · 12/07/2023 15:24

Oh Merlin, I have been known to suggest to people in the past that I couldn't understand things for them but in your case there is no need. You understand full well that TWs aren't women but you go on pretending that you don't.

GrannyAchingsShepherdsHut · 12/07/2023 15:27

Random man threatens violence.

'who cares, anyway, what about this completely different man in a completely different situation that has nothing to do with this? Huh? Well?'

Utter irrelevant horseshit. By all means start a thread about GL and toilets. If anyone is remotely interested I'm sure they'll talk to you. This however is not about GL, and not about toilets. It's also, and this may come as a shock, not about you. HTH.

ho can I tell the difference between men and women? Even if the man is wearing a blouse?

you are a silly sausage

TheHappyCarrot · 12/07/2023 15:30

How can you tell if it's a trans woman?.....well, where to start 🤔

personally, not that I think such online communications should receive any sort of punishment, considering what other people have been sanctioned over, this constitutes a massive bias in rulings over online communications.

Outrageous that both headlines call the person making sexually violent threats a woman.

Yes, totally outrageous.

ArabeIIaScott · 12/07/2023 15:46

By 'examine' you mean 'look at', Merlin?

Beowulfa · 12/07/2023 15:56

I'm sure readers can look at the face and attitude of the "woman" and draw their own conclusions.

I've observing your presence on the form for a while now and it appears you are just here to excuse appaling behaviour and conduct, threats and intimidation, sexual abuse and assault - so long as it happens only to women, and only when perpetrated by males purporting to be women.

Pure whataboutism'

You don't nee dto use the word 'cis' you can use the words woman and transwoman - that would be more accurate, and not so needlessly provocative.

You can always tell. But you know that.

RebelliousCow · 12/07/2023 16:06

can I ask what is the protocol for people repeatedly using the term 'cis' - when requested not to? Can it be reported? I don't normally resort to such measures - but just feel this is an ongoing trolling like behaviour: an act of wilful provocation.

The men are the ones making threats to punch, pop, and rape women. HTH.

PatatiPatatras · 12/07/2023 16:12

Lol at this thread As long as the judgement applies to everyone joking to like minded peers on twitter then we should all just joke to pop all those we disagree with! Problem absolutely solved! 💯 . Fecking awesome!

It seems to depend on who the moderator is and also whether they decide the poster is using it legitimately or as a slur or to wind people up.

Mumsnet do say they don't ban words as such but will judge each post on its own merits, but only if they are made aware of them by people reporting.

Yes, interesting use of “examine”. Sounds very medical. We don’t “examine” people - we “look at” them or perhaps “scrutinise” if we’re looking closely.

And we know instantly if we’re looking at a man or a woman, @MerlinsLostMarbles, and it has nothing to do with whether the person is wearing makeup or not.

Boomboom22 · 12/07/2023 16:17

I'd be happier with gl in the womams toilets than a tw act7ally. The stats show tw are more likely to sexually assault than men so 🤷

Boomboom22 · 12/07/2023 16:17

Sorry more likely than other men. Of course women are highly unlikely to assault but tw are men.
