Feminism: Sex and gender discussions

Reading between the lines, there are hints in the first article that someone was giving him information which he repeated. That's missing from the second article, which reads more like he investigated and made up his own mind based on what he saw.

I didn’t realize it was two articles by the same writer with a few years between them and I wondered why you included the second article, which I couldn’t even read all of because it was filled with so much disinformation.

Cleary he’s still somewhat on the fence, but it’s niggling at him that one side isn’t playing fair. He also now sees the split in his “community” rather than blaming “conservative women” as he did before.

It will be interesting to see how his thoughts progress. It’s obviously difficult for him.

Takes a lot of courage to admit you were wrong and stand up to your friends.

You have to love the Genderists- doubtless they will attack him for treachery rather than engage in honest argument and that will drive yet one more person inexorably to our side.

Thanks for the read, OP. Lovely article.

Well, it's a start.

'Personally, I’m not even sure where I stand on the trans issue anymore but I could never agree with the idea of no-debate. There absolutely must be debate. Always. At all times.'

Yep. Keep going. Ask questions. See what happens.

Thanks, OP - a really interesting contrast between those two pieces. He's getting there, s-l-o-w-l-y...
