Good article imo. And this quote sums up why everyone should be invested in this regardless of whether gender ideology impacts on them directly,

Sleepwalking into a modern day dictatorship is not an option. I say modern day because it looks like it will be run by monolithic all powerful ideologies rather than an individual with absolute power but would be a fascist dictatorship none the less.

She's been such a great journalist about all this - shedding light on so many murky corners.

I remember having to write essays about hegemony at uni but the concept really didn't come to life for me until about 2010 onwards when all of this starting really kicking off and then the ongoing takeover of all messaging and utter resistance to all dissent.

Thank you, what a great article, very clear in her support for LGBA. Also the comments were encouragingly supportive, even though those pointing out it was a win on a technicality (Mermaids had no right to challenge, as far as I can gather: please correct me if I am wrong - like I need to ask -) were very quickly followed up with comments about Mermaids is now under investigation for some very serious dodgy practice so has shot itself in the foot
