I’m so grateful

I just cannot put into words how grateful I am that I can come here and talk to other women about all the bullshit that men try to crush us with. My heart is lightened every time I read another post by a woman who is staying angry and aware. The fierce and articulate disagreement is so good to see and I’ve learnt so much from reading other women’s perspectives on here. I only joined recently, after lurking a long time. Thank you again.

Same. Some whip smart women on here who can make sense of all the academic muddle, and some whose painful real life experiences with their children break my heart. Such important voices.

The women on here are beyond amazing!

^^ This is so true. The whole issue can be confusing when you find yourself on the same side as people like Piers Morgan for example!

That’s true. I’m struggling with being on the “same side” as some women who are anti-choice, and i always thought that was my absolute non-negotiable issue. And it still is, but it’s amazing that women from all different political persuasions, all walks of life, come together in solidarity on the issue of what it means to be a woman when that itself is called into question.

I agree, I have learnt so much since joining MN last year.

Those posters who come wading in, expecting to right our wrong-think with a few silly slogans, instead being calmly, kindly, expertly schooled until their vexatious “arguments” sound hollow and forlorn even to them, so off they slink, replaced the next day by a brand new poster and/or a brand new username.
