Wasn’t the original post on the Work board? Might be worth posting on there (discreetly) asking the OP if there’s an update. However she was concerned about the story getting picked up by the media so if she’s decided not to post a follow up that’s understandable.

No the thread was deleted because of compromising her. And someone who tried to start a thread like this had it deleted because too many posts where in fact giving away more details.

And as I think the original OP namechanged to create the thread, it isn't as though someone who may know them can send a message.

But as she hasn't come back, I think we just have to respect she doesn't want public discussion.

Who knows we may here in about a month.

I was wondering about asking about this, it is a sensitive area, I hope at some point we get to hear, and if the OP is keeping an eye on Mumsnet I just want to say I hope it went well, we are all rooting for you.

I've been thinking about this thread too and looking out for an update. Hope OP is doing OK whatever the outcome was. The priority needs to be to protect her employment.

Id live to know what happens in that office, but I guess we never will ( unless it escalates, which wouldn’t be totally surprising).

Is it against MNHQ ethical policy and FWR sisterhood policy to "@" the Ginny thread OP and ask politely is she is okay, and has she got a new job.

And did Ginny and stupid boss ride off into the sunset together leaving everyone to get back to their normal lives.

I missed the Ginny story originally but found the update thread after seeing mentions of Ginny in the "which thread lives in your head rent free" thread.

I would love nothing more than an update. I searched the username of the poster but saw she hadn't posted since the end of July.

I suspect if she had left for a new job or if Ginny was still causing trouble, she would have been back. Part of me thinks the problem was resolved during OP's holiday and she doesn't want to draw attention to it any more.

Or it was an eloborate hoax.

I missed the the 'which thread lives in your head rent free' thread, but I would have to say the ginny thread. It was vivid. I have wondered a few times how OP is getting on. But I expect there are good reasons why OP let it go quiet and we will probably never know.
