It makes sense though. Women get a higher clothing allowance most likely because their uniforms will cost more. And may need more dry cleaning or whatever.

All these officers are doing to using the system to get that higher tax free allowance. The system allows this, it is a loop hole. Created because they have allowed some males to becoming female if they want to.

That the force and all these people feel outraged at these males using the system to get all the benefits they can, is surprising. What did they think would happen under self ID?

It is absolutely clear that Victoria has fully embraced self ID and they have ignored all the ramifications.

I’d love to see them police (ahem…pun intended) this. How do they propose to prove that an officer’s declared identity of non-binary is false?

One Victoria Police source told the Herald Sun it would be a travesty if anyone was lying about their gender status for extra money and questioned whether it could be a criminal offence.

“It goes to their integrity,” the source told the newspaper. “For VicPol, this would be terrible and its taxpayers’ money, this is ­offensive to genuine non-binary employees.”
How could it possibly be a criminal offence?

The whole point of gender identity is that it's an inner sense and unfalsifiable by its very nature, so if you believe in gender ideology, you cannot also believe that there would be any way to disprove someone's assertion that their gender identity is different from what they say it is.

What's utterly bizarre about this is that people seem genuinely surprised that having a policy where men and women are treated differently is undermined by letting people choose whether they want to be treated as men or women.

Being as I’ve never met a binary person, I’m not surprised there’s a high uptake of this. To prove that they’re lying you’d have to prove that they conform to gender stereotypes.

They were going to do this in San Francisco (civilians on low income). You’d get money if you declare you are trans/non binary . What could go wrong?

Extra money if you claim to be something that is unprovable and all based on some internal woo woo! Such fun! What could possibly go wrong and how could anyone have foreseen this latest turn of events!
