I've just received this email.
England Netball is about to open a consultation.

Gender not sex.

Does anyone know anything about Carbmill Consulting?

I look forward to receiving the survey in the next few days.

On LinkedIn there are only 2 people that come up in my search for that company, and the company is described as having 2-10 employees, and is based in Perth, Australia. Carbmill have done surveys and reports on this topic before if you search for their name and research/review/survey.

They seem to have found themselves a little, niche industry.

Netball is a physically robust game. I imagine allowing males to play on the same court as females will result in a huge decline in participation.

I just received a link to the survey. Good to be asked and some quite clear questions and definitions in there.

I have also received and completed the survey. Sadly it cannot be forwarded or completed more than once - you have to be an England Netball member. Agree that the questions were very clear, and there is also the opportunity to expand on answers - I went with safety, discrimination against religious players, loss of camaraderie, mixed teams quickly becoming male teams and what 'inclusion' has done to women's swimming/cycling etc.

I am not a member of netball england so won't see this..

In case this is useful for any respondents..
This report was produced in Sept 2021 by the Sports Councils of the UK and sets out clear arguments and guidelines which individual sports organisations have been asked to comply with.

I think gender policy as a title is presently ok, it hopefully means they are seeking feedback on whether members think that males who “identify” as “female gendered” should be allowed to play with females (and vice versa).

We are members as daughter plays. Just completed the survey. Actually think it was well worded and clear.

Carbmill were the consultants involved in the 2021 SCEG guidance which was the starting point for NGBs being more confident to pick fairness for the sports. So historically has not been linked to pushing for male inclusion in female sport, the opposite really.

Hi, does anyone know what came out of the consultation? I've tried googling but haven't been able to find the results or the policy that came out of it? Have they changed stances?
