AGP's v women in female spaces

Are there any stats anywhere showing how many cases there have been of AGP's causing distress and harm to women/children in female spaces in the UK?

I'm arguing with a man online who knows a nice transwoman, so that means all trans people are nice and I have nothing to worry my pretty little face about 🙄

Tell him to click on any transwomen's twitter and go from there. He'll see so many unsolicited penises it's not funny. Plus the odd nappy...

In effect, this is positioning the argument as you seeking permission to say “No” to men.

Why are you asking his permission, why do you accept his view that women’s privacy is an act of his largesse.

The answer is no, and how dare he be so presumptuous.

People like that love to waste women's time arguing bollocks because the more you get drawn into a fruitless online debate and the more you put your time and effort and energy into digging around various sources to find irrefutable stats to persuade some dickhead who won't even read them that he's wrong, the less time you'll be spending on activism that actually matters and can actually make a difference to women's rights.

Obviously it's entirely up to you how you spend your free time, but it's very easy to get sucked into these things to the detriment of other important activism or other tasks that might serve you better, and TRAs know this. Also, men fucking love the attention they get from being contrary on women's rights issues - he probably thinks you're flirting with him..

And there are males who say they are transwomen who specifically get off on photographing themselves in women's loos. Handily documenting themselves with zero self awareness on twitter.

Also, you could ask him if he believes that transwomen are an entirely different species, or if they're simply normal humans trying to live their lives as best they can.

If they're just normal humans, then a proportion of them will be perverts, criminals, opportunists and liars, because a proportion of all humans are. Why would someone's transness elevate their moral righteousness and self-control above that of an average human?

Either they're just normal people who happen to be trans, in which case some of them are dangerous criminals and perverts, or they're some other distinct species, in which case the human women's loos isn't the place for them anyway.

Furthermore, if anyone can say they're a woman, then it's not just about this guy's trans friend or even about transwomen - if he's naive enough to believe that no-one ever lies for nefarious purposes, then he needs to get out more.
