Why would anyone do this?

I'm surprised people didn't turn out to just to fucking rage at them for their revisionism.

@ArabeIIaScott nope a big disappointment in Cork & Dublin. Very poor showing for pride in both cities.. The Cork pride committee were disgusted they were only allocated 8k in funding this year..

'Since the posts highlighting the altered image were published in June, Dublin Pride has removed the altered image from the history part of its website and replaced it with a graphic depicting various protests.
A note has been added that says the graphic is based on iconic images from different historical protests and celebrations “along with the obvious addition of a sign saying ‘Trans rights are human rights’”.'
