(Shame that the newspaper couldn't have said "Beira's Place funded by JKR)

JK Rowling's rape crisis centre has reached the stage of being on a list of referrals for victims who contact Police Scotland.

Beira’s Place opened in 2022 and made headlines for being a venue that exclusively supports and hires biological women. It reflects the views of the Harry Potter author that continue to earn her accusations of "TERF" and transphobe.

Police reports however, say the centre has has "positive" reviews since launching with a team of women who believe that single-sex spaces at other rape crisis facilities have been betrayed by the adoption of gender ideology. In one damning incident the manager of Edinburgh Rape Crisis, a transwoman, said there were plans to educate "bigoted" rape survivors about trans rights
