Article in the Telegraph yesterday.

The extent of the capture is, as always, shocking.

When are the government guidelines on this ever going to come out?

It's funny how this has only become an issue within the last 5 years isn't it? I bet the majority of these cases of children wanting to transition at school in secret are where the parents have gone "no you are not changing your name and pronouns" and the child is trying their luck at school regardless. The parents pose no actual risk to their child whatsoever, they have just said "no you're not doing that". How bloody infuriating would that be for that parent. This is why the narrative of "abusive parents" is so sinister. There's no thought given to the potential of abusive teachers who may find having discussions about sex and sexual identity a way to get close to a child.

I just can't understand why teachers are suddenly the go to people for young people to discuss their sexual orientation or their "gender identity". Is it common now for children to be having these personal discussions with teachers rather than with their peers? Is it actually being encouraged for youth to divulge personal things about themselves to teachers? Where are the boundaries gone?
