That's ridiculous. He knows that's offensive. I remember decades ago, being labelled a non-catholic, so many years ago, but it irritated me. I felt like, don't define me through your lens. I'm not a non anything. Don't bring me in to it. And that was a much smaller scale of irritation.

Hi I stopped being catholic, when a man so horrified about the ordination of women in the anglican church, converted to catholicism and became a priest. I wouldn't let this misogynist absolve my baby daughter of original sin. I haven't been back since.

PS. I never believed in original sin. I don't need any religious leader ( and they're all men )to be my moral compass. The Nuns at school were mostly decent (except for the odd sexually frustrated one pressurised into a vocation she didn't have). We women must not confuse kindness and femininity with being a doormat.
