I did start a thread some time ago to collect newspaper headlines that are totally bat shit but couldn't find it.

So just 'cos its late and we all need a laught (NOT) this headline has its very own thread:

(Some of the writing in this article are a bit strange. Not sure if someone has just sent this over from the US on spec and doesn't really understand. At one point the article says "The glossary is emblematic of the current struggle being faced by supporters of transgender rights who none the less claim that the word 'women' is 'being erased' in favor of woke terms such as 'birthing people' and 'menstruators'." Note spelling of the word favour.)

What about non-binary people assigned male at birth, in this equation?? Surely gay men should then be non-women attracted to non-women?

By their own (albeit silly) definitions, a NB person isn't a woman and thus isn't lesbian. A transman most certainly wouldn't want to be called a lesbian, but a straight man in that case.

So yes, the only reason to call it "non-man" for lesbian but men for gay is to erase the concept of woman.

Maybe because its late, but I thought this is just to confirm that predatory men are entitled to have access to lesbians who have no right to complain and are being instructed to quietly submit.

How come women have to move over for non-binary people? Is it not more inclusive to allow non-binary people to choose if they want to be put under all the terms for women or all the terms for men? Oh wait, there is only one term for men 🙄

The same glossary also explains to us why they use 'sex assigned at birth' rather than just 'sex' :

Fantastic - but bet it doesn't change the dominant culture at the University that ever allowed this to be put forward as an actual policy.

Oh dear - this isn't very re-assuring:

"Upon becoming aware of the language in question, we have begun working to determine the origin and context of the glossary’s definitions. We have removed the page from our website while we gather more information"

They mean the origin could be more important that actual facts ie lesbian is biological women who are attracted to other biological women.

just change 'wo man' to 'no man' and have done with it.

Comparisons with Nazi Germany are over used; so I am sorry. But have millions of people literally lost heir bloody minds? Women must take action if not with muscle then through educating ourselves and boycotting every organisation or individual who spread this toxic woman hating crap. Stop being nice ladies fight back!
