I remember watching a documentary from years ago about this, the Scottish doctor who carriedout some unnecessary amputations was in it. There was a young woman who wanted both her legs amputated. She'd role play being an amputee, got herself a wheelchair. I recall watching her walk, drive, etc. Using her healthy legs and, aside from the batshit, I thought she was so ungrateful.
I'm not sure if this was the same documentary, but I remember a bit interviewing a woman who was down a leg. She did a....niche film for discerning gentlemen. I don't think anything obviously pornographic. She was filmed getting onto a lilo in a pool. Because she'd lived with her disability she was able to just get on it. The director told her to do it again but less good, the viewers would want to see her struggling 🤮
Thinking about it I think it may have been a different documentary but perhaps in the same series. There was a guy, a feeder, broken hearted because his wife was on a diet after his 'care' had kept her morbidly obese and bedbound.
