Apologies if there is already a thread on this. I have tried Googling but can only find old articles. Has a decision been made on this case/appeal? I know there’s lots of knowledgeable people here who must have been following it. Thank you.

Word was the announcement was imminent a few weeks back then it all went quiet again.

Thank you, that’s what I thought too. I have no idea how it all works behind the scenes but it seems a long time for a decision to be made.

The Charity Commission is just 3 people and a dog so it's amazing they get anything done at all TBH.

Is it a support dog?

The dog would be more use than anyone at Mermaids.

What with Stonewall trending today, it got me thinking about Mermaids (as you do).

It has been exactly a year (28/11/2022) since the Charity Commission launched their investigation. Surely they must have drafted a report by now?

The Charities Commission only contacted the complainants at the end of August asking for permission of details of their complaints to be shared with Mermaids. I’d expect there’s quite a while before there’s any conclusion.
