The Weekend Australian Again

There's some more coverage of transgender and GC topics on the front page of the Weekend Australian. The main article is about ROGD teens, (continuing on to fill most of page 4) with interviews with some of the parents concerned. There's also an interview with a trans identifying teenager, and a sidebar article on Tik Tok influencers.

From one of the fathers: "We have lost our child to this insidious ideology... She was guided down this path- every step of the way - by institutions or by well-meaning adults who probably thought they were kind and doing the right thing."

The online version is behind a paywall, so if anyone has an archive link...

Today's Australian (Monday the 29th) has another article, this time about schools transitioning children behind their parents' backs: "School trans aid 'crosses the line'". Sorry, I'm on my tablet so I can't provide a link.

I feel like I've moved to a strange parallel universe where The Australian is a more reliable and balanced news source than the ABC!

This issue showed me just how unreliable old Aunty had become. The way they have reported this issue has shown the ABC as being hugely biased and they don’t check facts. It broke my heart.

I watched ABC news faithfully for nearly 30 years... and now I just can't bear it. If they're ignoring and lying about this, what else are they covering up?

Yes. Very concerning. Growing up where I did, we had nothing but ABC for years. It is no longer the trustworthy service it was.

I don’t like Fox News, but on the other hand if you watch both, maybe you can get a fuller view via the different people interviewed.

Excellent news. Hopefully Australia will wake up and join the UK, Sweden, and France in taking a proper look at the science and put an end to to this nonsense.

You can risk jail in some parts of the country for providing the treatment that is recommended as optimal elsewhere.

It's so insane. I really hope that this nightmare ends soon.
