Suffragette coloured t-shirt (or jumper)

Anyone know where I can get a purple / white / green striped jumper or t-shirt? DD1 has a pride mufti day at school & has decided she wants to make go in suffragette colours (v proud of her). Had a quick search of t'web but can only find stuff with logos, which is too much. She's just wants the colours - stripes, swirls or spots.

Whoever linked to a North Face product, they’ve been rightly criticised for their recent marketing to children for pride. Avoid them at all costs.

Why are schools having PRIDE Mufti days? So we have gone from World Book Day in reception to everyone having to embrace genderwoo.
This is really not on when you think about it.

I'm 'proud' of the OPs daughter for turning it into a celebration of GC against what I'd imagine is a certain amount of peer pressure to conform to the Rainbow Reich.

‘Rainbow Reich’ 😍

The people I know (in the US, granted) have worn Harry Potter merch. It's become a way of signaling to other gc people while still having plausible deniability :)

www.adulthumanfemale.store/ have various item's using suffragette colours.

Pluvia · 28/05/2023 16:36

How about a Lavender Menace T-shirt? It's what the US lesbians standing up to Phyllis Shlafly wore:

Other versions available.

Less controversially...After every storm

Oh good, it’s a proper rainbow with all seven colours.

The six-colour Pride rainbow just looks like a mistake.

Would any of these do?

@scaredofpate the Adult Human Female Store was there yesterday & looking good but I went back to shop today and the site has vanished! Just getting the wix build page. Hope it's just a site error and they've not been taken down.

I'm getting the same too. The US store is still available. I'm sure KJK will get on to this soon and have it back up.

That image is disgusting too.

Sometimes I have to be that person - suffragette colours are Green, White and VIOLET

QueenBitch666 · 29/05/2023 15:08

Brilliant site ✊

White T-shirt/hoodie and a tie dye kit off Amazon… tie dye is quite trendy.

Wouldn't a rainbow t-shirt with no pastel colours - or pp's t-shirt with rainbow on - be a demonstration more closely aligned with Pride and less overtly political? She'd be supporting LGB people clearly there, while being less antagonistic. Obviously I don't think she's wrong to wear the green, white and purple (I'm rather fond of my suffragette tartan scarf) but she's making herself a target for the woke-brigade, which will include teachers. Is she really wanting heated arguments if another pupil is "offended"? Especially knowing she'll be unlikely to have backup because most people who agree, will not speak up. On top of that any woke teacher who has a problem with it, or responds to "offended pupils" will be doubly compelled to show their woke stars during Pride month.

The suffragette colours at any other time would be noticed, but maybe less controversial.

Totally different if she's thought it all through, but worth checking that she's aware this could socially backfire on her. Teens aren't always the best at thinking out all the possible consequences of their actions!

I agree. I applaud and am in awe of your daughter’s tenacity but I’d be a nervous wreck all day and would probably offer to let her stay at home that day or plead with her to wear something slightly less conspicuous. Then again, people like me don’t change the world!

No, most GC LGB people have turned their back on the rainbow. It no longer signifies what it once did. I avoid and feel extremely suspicious of anyone with a rainbow lanyard or rainbow laces. Too many virtue-signalling, homophobic fools who wear it to play the game.
