If I understand correctly this was part of a filibuster attempt to stop a bill that was banning physical gender treatment for children in Nebraska.

In places where filibustering is permitted, I thought most places at least required you to speak on a topic, not as strict as Just a Minute, say (no hesitation, repetition or deviation), but requiring something better than this. Watching that, I'm wondering how far we are away from representatives just showing up and setting off a siren.

The other wrinkle here is that I believe that at the last minute, following a failed attempt to get an even stricter ban as a separate bill, the Republicans merged a post-12-week abortion ban into the same bill.

I'm wondering if there was a separate bit of screaming about that, and how much she loves women, or is it only medicalising children that she's crazy about?

This is up there with the ‘artistic’ screaming recently of a female (who I think had identified as trans) . The accumulation of these performances in front of microphones while supposedly presenting convincing arguments to panels setting policy is mounting. And showing a distinct lack of coherent arguments or even just coherence.

I saw this on KF earlier. What is starting to worry me is that the laws to protect under 18s from gender surgery are getting rolled up with the laws restricting abortion - in this case, restricting abortion to 12 weeks - on the ground that both are 'protecting children '. In the same way that genderists tagged trans onto LGB. This kind of forced teaming will not be good for women.
