Holly Lawford Smith is, of course, being targeted by TRAs.

There are two articles in the Age, I could only read one before the paywall slammed down. The second article (that I couldn't read) seems to be the most popular article on the site at the moment.

Also another article about them targeting a different lecturer and a tw(!), attempting to stop any discussion at all because 'transphobia'.

I read both of those articles yesterday - the author published links on Twitter that circumvented the paywall - and I was horrified at how many investigations the Uni has put HLS through. They investigated her Twitter usage, her attendance at the LWS event, her teaching, her course materials, her website. The process is definitely the punishment because she’s been found to have done nothing wrong.

I can’t believe how much she’s put up with and I fully support her taking the Uni to an employment tribunal. I hope she wins and secures rights for herself and other Australian employees.
