I am receiving threats of violence, threats of my door being broken down, sexual harassment, being told to kill myself

I have been told that if I speak about the harassment and abuse I have received by male members of the music community I will be arrested

I think for any woman this is terrifying, and I have reached the point of wanting to be public in this

I hope people share and state that they also see this stance of the @metpoliceuk as abhorrent, this is not an acceptable stance

It's hard to make sense of the disconnected tweets. Please could someone help her write the story up

From what I can gather:
A mother and her adult child have been victims of violence (possibly at the hands of different men over time - hard to decipher).

The violence suffered by the young adult woman is within a music community.

The met police have been alerted multiple times between 2019 and now- 2023, with their response being wholly inadequate and lately resulting in the met police harming even further the victim of the initial abuse.

The victim is now coming under pressure from the music community and supposedly the met to be quiet about her experiences. The perpetrator and/or online trolls are actively using the police as part of further abusive threats.

The victim goes on to cite two cases which give her hope that one day she will get justice and/ or recognition that what is being done to her is wrong.

And there seems to be someone who lurks on MN to cause trouble to get threads about this deleted.

That's what I understood anyway.
