The young non-binary (she/they) kid is scared of the robot until said machine declares its they/them pronouns. Then the kid says oh sorry I reacted that way, the world can be a scary place but I know I’m safe with my friends and other non-binary people.
WTF is that messaging? Having a non-binary ID doesn’t mean you’re safe to be around! Anyone can be dangerous. This is pushing the “all trans and non-binary people are absolutely lovely” narrative. Kids should be taught never to trust a stranger, full stop. Safeguarding fail.
