Between Plaid and Labour we are doomed in Wales.

Any way a similar review could be carried out for (all three branches of) Labour?

Any possibility that the next leader is better? There were some gender crits in Plaid but there seems to be nothing organized. Rhun ap Iorwerth is the currently deputy leader and ran for leader in 2018. I imagine he is front runner if he stands. I suspect he would not change Plaid's position on gender issues, but from a quick google he is not that interested in the topic so it may take more of a backseat.

Leanne Wood can't stand as she lost her Senedd seat. Both Price and Wood are very committed to genderism. So any change might help.

Glad to see him go. He was leader when Helen Mary Jones was bullied into apologising for alleged 'transphobia'.

It just goes to show how insane and yet influential this ideology is. Comparing trans discrimination - or indeed any kind of discrimination - with the genocide of six million people is about as offensive as it gets in my book. Yet these people managed to force Jones to apologise for pointing it out. I wonder what they did to her, and why she didn't stand her ground.

She shared Rosa Freedman's tweet which said: ‘Whatever your position on sex and gender identity please stop equating this with the Holocaust. I and very many others would stand in front or in the place of those being put onto trains leading to the death camps. Stop co-opting our trauma’.

Both women were accused of holocaust denial as well as transphobia (by people who didn't seem to understand the tweet).

This was Adam Price's response:

I wish to reaffirm Plaid Cymru’s absolute commitment to the rights of trans people. Trans men are men and trans women are women. I welcome the apology from a member of my shadow cabinet following a now deleted retweeted message which caused pain and hurt to many.

It was a ridiculous, grovelling apology. God knows what they said to her to force her to come out with that shit. I hate to say it, but I think less well of her for having agreed to apologise like that.

What has happened to her since ? I also wondered what was done to force that apology. It was shocking that she said it.

It is interesting that Plaid, unlike any other major party has no open Women's Rebellion group that could rally round her. Welsh Labour has a decent one.
