While not technically FWR gardening, your wise words and keyboard skills can help your sisters in the US stop the concept of "gender identity" from replacing sex in law.
For over 500 years, the UK and the US are influenced both ways because of our shared history of Anglo-American legal jurisprudence. What shapes you, can help us and vice versa. Consider a few minutes of weeding so we can let women and girls thrive and grow in gardens around the world. Thank you.
The U.S. Department of Education (DOE) announced it is seeking to amend Title IX regulations in regard to “gender identity” and athletics in schools. The proposed rule would change the very definition of sex in Title IX to include "gender identity" across the board, and allow any male student-athlete eligible for female-only teams by simply declaring that he "identifies" as a female student-athlete.
Submit your comment todayay, and urge the DOE to consider regulations that explicitly protect the ability of schools to implement single-sex teams, leagues, and programs at any level of education and competition.
We know that when women and girls are forced to compete against men and boys, women and girls lose out on titles, advancements, and scholarships. They're also made to feel uncomfortable, and can become injured. That's why we need you to submit a public commentnt opposing this proposed rule!^
The public has until Monday, May 15th to send official comments. >> Send yours now! ! _
