Yes. What's interesting is how the assaults on women are now coming not only from the right in the US but also from the left.
The left doesn't want to take away all women's reproductive rights which the right has as one of its goals, but it does make protecting those rights much more difficult because it is pretending that all 'people' might suddenly fall pregnant and so there's nothing particularly discriminatory about limiting women's reproductive choices.
