This is how it's going to end, isn't it? More and more right wing men will 'identify' as women, lesbians, people of colour, non-binary, etc.
There is no argument that TRAs can use to counter this, it's using the rules they invented and insist upon.

After watching the whole video, and seeing the councilman speak at the end, it's obvious that he's only doing this to show how ridiculous the whole thing has become. Fair play to him....this is how people will realise what's happening.

Watching the 'day 1 of being a girl' from DM it seems clear it's parody. I wonder if he intended it as such to begin with but then when he saw all the people fawning over him now he was ID-ing as a girl, and the money rushing in, decided it was too good a grift to give up.

The Ben Shapiro clip sums up TRAs perfectly. You try and talk, they threaten literal violence - with witnesses and zero consequences.

But fair play to Sky News Aus - James Macpherson wouldn't get a second of airtime on any of the news channels in the UK saying the same stuff. I know Australia is captured somewhat, but clearly there are voices determined to be heard which is good.

I think RW today became my favourite man. I hope he gets a lot of airtime over the next few days and people start thinking about the logical inconsistencies and silliness of it all.

Ryan Webb is correct. 'They' don't get to question his sincerity. He says he identifies as a woman. Well, that's all 'they' have asked of anyone else - to say it. You say it, you are it.

I just hope he can continue to keep a straight face whilst he waves off the complaints. Because if 'they' say 'I don't believe you and I'm not going to treat you as a woman of colour' then it opens the door to the rest of us to say 'well, I don't believe you either, and I'm not going to treat you as a woman/man/baby'.

And even if the TRAs keep at it, everyone else will have that niggle of - 'I don't believe him either, but - why should I believe you'?

The can of worms will be well and truly open. Checkmate indeed.
