So I have come to the conclusion I'm ignorant of feminist theories and the various positions. Or anything you think a fledgling feminist should know as embarrassingly I'm not even sure what questions to ask.

Bonus points for podcasts or audiobooks as if I'm honest I don't have time to read.

Very many thanks 🙏

Personally, I'd start with facts (Invisible Women by Caroline Criado Perez, The Gendered Brain by Gina Rippon) so you have something solid to apply the theories to.

Then Germaine Greer.

I'm less knowledgeable about what I would call 'academic feminist theory' i.e. but some of the feminist/ feminist adjacent books on my list to work through/which I have read are -

Hags - Victoria Smith
Cut - Hibo Wedere
Invisible Women - Caroline Criado - Perez
Material Girls - Kathleen Stock
In Her Nature - Rachel Hewitt
Vox - Christina Dalcher
The End of the World is Flat - Simon Edge
We Should All Be Feminists - Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
Feminism for Women - Julie Bindel

Ooh, I forgot Irreversible Damage by Abigail Shrier. Reminded by a fool on Twitter, outraged that a book he dislikes is being stocked by his local library.
